Habanero Peppers

If you are looking for something flavorful and hot, try an orange habanero pepper. It is one of the spiciest pepper varieties in the world. Habaneros are a kind of chili pepper and their flavor, aroma, and spiciness (which measures from 100,000 to 500,000 Scoville units) have made them a popular ingredient in sauces and other foods.  All habaneros start off green and the red and orange habaneros are the fully ripe versions. The capsaicin found in these peppers has anti-inflammatory properties and can help prevent sinus infections and studies have shown it to also improve heart health.

Crystal Valley offers green, red, and orange habanero peppers year-round from the Dominican Republic and Mexico.
