Beans and Peas

Superior. Distinct. Special.

English Peas

English peas, also known as garden peas, green peas, and shell peas, are grown on vines. Unlike snow peas and sugar snap peas, their pods are too fibrous to eat. Although considered a vegetable, they are really a fruit since they contain seeds developed from a flower.

Crystal Valley English peas are carefully hand shucked and packed  in Guatemala  52 weeks a year.

TIPS FOR SELECTION

Crystal Valley’s English peas are already shucked (removed from the pod) for your convenience. Look for crisp, fresh, and green peas without blemishes.  The fresher the better as the sugar content transforms into starch but refrigerating until use will slow down this process.
