Baby Carrots

Crystal Valley’s fresh baby carrots are immature carrots that are delicately hand peeled, leaving a trimmed green top. They are different from “baby cut” carrots, which are simply mature carrots that have been peeled and shaped into a smaller cut.  They are usually sweeter and more tender than full-grown carrots and have a much smaller central core. Fresh baby carrots are packed with nutrients, flavorful, and they are a beautiful garnishment for your next meal. Crystal Valley imports orange baby carrots and mixed baby carrots year-round.

TIPS FOR SELECTION

Look for baby carrots that are fresh, smooth, clean, and fairly straight, with good color and a healthy green top.
